Autumn One-Day Summit

At IHALC’s next London One-Day Summit, in partnership with Frontify and Monotype, some 200 senior leaders across Creative Operations, Creative, Brand, Production and Content at the UK’s major brands will join us for a unique experience.

Our One-Day Summits are restricted to senior brand-side leaders only, creating a ‘safe space’ for learning from and supporting each other. Throughout the day, you will hear from your fellow leaders about how they are tackling the major challenges facing brands today. Plus, you will hear from external experts as well as having the chance to contribute your own insights and ask questions of your peers in our group discussion sessions.

Confirmed Speakers

Walter Susini: Previously Chief Marketing Officer for The Coca-Cola Company in Europe, Africa and Middle East, Walter also led global creative strategy, content and design at Unilever, so he knows a thing or two about managing creativity within large organisations. We’ll be talking to him about the complexities of corporate life, and how to survive them, a subject he literally wrote the book on with last year’s Bullsh*t Inc, a hugely entertaining “survival guide” to the world of big brands.

Walter is currently Marketing Professor of Practice at SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan and a Lecturer at London Business School, as well as serving as NED and advisor at various major corporations.

Vikki Ross: will be discussing why a brand must establish its voice internally before it can communicate externally, and how a brand voice created by humans is a competitor advantage in the age of AI.

Vikki has been writing copy for major global brands for almost 30 years. Most of her work is with entertainment brands – described as “the UK’s leading tone of voice and copywriting expert” by Creativebrief, she’s created the voice of Sky, BAFTA, ITV, IMAX and more. In a career plot twist, she most recently created the voice of Formula E, Range Rover, Defender, Discovery and Jaguar.

Vikki travels the world delivering talks and workshops that help brands like adidas, Pandora and Spotify bring their voice to life. She created the #CopywritersUnite hashtag to connect copywriters on and offline. And she created Copy Safari to take brands and agencies out in search of work in the wild because she believes it’s one thing to look at work on screen in a meeting room, but it’s another to consider it as consumers do.

Shelley Morrell: Allwyn’s Head of Creative & Production, Shelley Morrell, will be sharing the thinking behind Studio 59, the new in-house creative, content and media team for The National Lottery, which brings creative, social, content, production, media, brand management and planning teams together.

Phil Garnham, Executive Creative Strategist, Monotype: Phil advises the world’s most ambitious brands on how type shapes identity, emotion, and connection.

Graham Sturt, Head of Creative, Monotype

Graham leads Monotype’s multidisciplinary in-house agency team. Prior to joining Monotype Graham held senior roles at several leading international agencies, collecting numerous awards for his work. His extensive agency experience includes seamlessly blending strategy and design to engage audiences, leading global multidisciplinary teams and nurturing the culture of high-performing creative studios. Graham is active in the international creative community as an awards judge, collaborator, guest speaker and mentor for emerging creative talent.

Patrick Horan, Principal Brand & Motion Designer, Skyscanner

Coral Garvey, Global Creative Director, Monzo: Coral will share the evolution of the bank’s Creative Studio and the story behind its recent Get Busy Living brand campaign

Plus: IHALC Talent & Salary Survey. In partnership with The Industry Club, we will be giving attendees an exclusive first sight of the results of our 2026 Talent & Salary Survey which explores the biggest talent challenges facing in-house agency leaders today. We’ll then be joined by Kerry Matto, Senior Lead – Global Creative Studio Manager at JustEat Takeaway.com, who will share the work she has been doing to upskill and equip her team for an AI future.
